Meaning: He went into hiding with Adam and Eve’s consent. My guess is this is God’s explanation of why the fallen angel is referred to as a snake.

Question: Does this mean he literally hid inside Adam and Eve’s house or did he change into some kind of animal - because the story of Adam and Eve described him as a creature, specifically a snake?
